"Camp Mocomi
has been the highlight of my summer since 1st grade. After High School, I
definitely was missing the fun and spiritual growth I experienced at
camp. Now, I am blessed to be a youth minister who is still apart of the
Mocomi legacy by bringing my students to camp each summer. I know that
students today will love being a part of God's moving at Camp Mocomi year after
year." Adam S.

Camp is a place of refuge. Its a place
outside of the hectic society we all live in. I can go there and feel at peace
with my friends and devote my attention to God. The worship and message each
year provide a jump to my walk with Christ each year. Every year, the overall
theme shines light on the problems that we has teens and kids deal with and
puts them in a light we can live our lives by.
Plus there is all
the fun. Sand Volleyball where I will take on anyone who comes in my way. Cards
and board games in the chapel when its too hot outside. And time with friends
you see only for this week. Its a blast and number one on my summer
schedule Andrew M.

I can't think of Camp MOCOMI without
smiling! What a wonderful place! I grew up at Camp MOCOMI. I not
only attened my week of camp every summer, I would often go back the weeks that
were not for my age group and visit just to get more of the camp life into my
summer. It was the highlight of the summer for me! I have so many
memories that will last a life time. I met some to the greatest people at
camp and made some life long friends! Camp MOCOMI was not only the best
place to spend a week in the summer, it never failed as a spiritual growing
spot for me. I grew every week I spent there and always got a little
closer to God! I would not be "me" today if it weren't for the
time I spent at Camp MOCOMI! I LOVE CAMP MOCOMI! Dodi S.
"great opportunity,

"Well i
started camp mocomi as a freshman and had many moving experiences as a
camper. Worship was always a favorite part just getting to sit there and take
it all in. But Thursday nights were the best, because that night was the night
that many decisions were made, spiritual decisions that is and it was always
great to know how that week of camp changed peoples lives. There were quite a
few years we had baptisms and it was just amazing getting to see people
changing." Kacie S.

Mocomi has a special place
in my heart. Its where i have made awesome friendships, created some very very
comical memories and drawn closer to Christ. It was something i looked forward
to all year long to be with others to worship, learn, and grow!
Best part of camp was
campfire... nothing like singing praises to our King, surrounded by his
beautiful creation. (trees, sky, stars ect.) Rachel K.

It's something I look
forward to all year. It's such a great place, with an awesome christian
atmosphere. It's where I decided to give my life to Christ. Gold Bond, Twizzler
fights, water slide, mail call.. I'll keep on going for as long as I can; until
they kick me out. Aaron M.

Camp Mocomi has
played a large role in forming the woman I am today. I can remember so many
nights sitting around the camp fire, family groups, and of course the all so
famous faculty find.
The impact Mocomi
has had on me is so much more than just fun memories. Mocomi formed me as a
young Christian and helped me find the deep passion for Christ that I have
today. It was also at Mocomi that I met the MCC Camp Team and found the perfect
college for me. I never would have gone to Manhattan Christian College if it
hadn't have been for Mocomi, and for that I am forever grateful.
I will always
hold Camp Mocomi close to my heart and consider it a second home. Mocomi Homies
for life! :) Elishia S.
